About

Swift Creek offers day camps over summer vacations, spring break, and winter breaks for children ages 6-17.  Campers learn about horse care, nutrition, horsemanship, and horseback riding.  The children get riding lessons daily separated based on skill levels, have arts and crafts activities, play mounted games, and more!   We can accommodate first-time riders through students jumping 2'6" courses.  We also offer western riding including pleasure, barrel racing, and pole bending.  Please inquire about western riders coming to our camps as well!  Camps run Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.  Early drop off and late pickup is available.

Why Choose Swift Creek?

Swift Creek's camps have a high staff to student ratio to help campers meet their horsemanship goals, stay safe, and have fun!  We offer multiple trainers, giving more advanced students an opportunity to still enjoy camp.  We offer both English and western riding, dressage, hunters, jumpers, gaming, and equestrian vaulting!  We also have a counselor and counselor in training programs so our more advanced students can learn to teach our other students.  Our facilities are kept neat, clean, and organized.  We take pride in our care for the horses, tack, and other equipment.  We are also proud to keep a collection of safe, quiet horses of good temperament.

Foal Rescue

Swift Creek's owner also runs Eleventh Hour Foal Haven, which rescues orphaned nurse mare foals from euthanasia.  Foals are bottle fed, cleaned, and halter broke during spring break and the early sessions of summer camp.  Campers have some opportunities to help care for the foals during these sessions. 11th Hour is always looking for volunteers and donations!
